yakk0dotorgI've had a cruddy day. I hope tonight is better. I found out today that Dell can't make the system I ordered just like I had configured it on their website. Great. Just give me the fricking pieces and I'll put them together right because I know the configuration I wanted will work. But alas, they don't do that. So I settled for an external zip drive and moved on.
Then server issues installing NT4, but that resolved painlessly. Then the Dell guy came to work on my laptop. Only he didn't have all the replacement parts he needed. Then he discovered another bad piece and left my laptop in pieces on my workbench here in the office. So no online class for me tonite. If I don't have a laptop tomorrow night I am going to call our rep and lay some smack down.
I did get my car fixed. The nice people at Jiffy Lube replaced my spark plugs for free, but when I left I got a speeding ticket. grr...
And tonite's the party. Yay. I hope my headache's gone by the time I get there. And I'm already dreading the computer withdrawl tonite... :(
