I just got back to work from an off-campus presentation thing and as I was walking up to the Administration Building some groundskeepers were changing the American flag with a new one. I don't care if you don't raise the flag as you should, because not everyone knows that, but don't let the flag sit on the ground while  you hook it up. I don't know anyone that doesn't know that you don't let the US Flag touch the ground. Show some respect and don't treat it like another decoration on campus. It's times like this that I wish the Flag Code was enforcable.

Ack! Stuff like that REALLY bothers me.

We have a neighbor who has her flag up AT ALL TIMES (rain or shine, dark or day) and it doesn't have a light on it (§174(a)).

I hate when people wear clothes made out of the American flag (or when Sam's uses it as a backdrop for their commercial purposes).

It's just a huge peeve of mine.
