Mar. 1st, 2007 01:39 pmok, this makes sense...My FedEx package arrived in Memphis yesterday, sent to the Olive Branch facility and out for delivery from there. Then it was delivered at 11:30am to our apartment in Lakeland. The closest FedEx facility is on Appling down from Bellevue.
At least my headphones are delivered and with no hassle. My current ones are dying. I noticed that I could see the copper wire the other day, then the left headphone went out. I decided this time to try some inexpensive noise canceling headphones to see how I like them. My office has a lot of ambient noise and it'd be nice to cut that out. I found good reviews on the Philips SHN5500, and I have been using other Philips headphones off and on for a while now. It was about $50 retail, but I bought them from Buy.com using Google Checkout and got them for $25 after shipping. Google Checkout gives you a $10 credit the first time you use it. I wish I didn't have a test tonight and could get home early.
