After he started working on it, he told me the tooth is really infected. After working on it I'm not sure what happened, but a wave of nausea passed over me and I started gagging. He put some medicine in the tooth and quickly closed it up so I could run to the bathroom. I didn't throw up, but I almost passed out a couple times. The dentist made me stay in a room with my legs elevated for a while just to make sure I was OK. I don't know what exactly happened, but I haven't almost blacked out like that in years.
I got prescribed some penicillin to take, and now I'm trying to eat food again and drink stuff other than water. I think yesterday I dehydrated myself by drinking so much water.
Hopefully I'm going to be well enough to go to work tomorrow, but I don't think I will unless something changes. Right now I feel a little nauseous again, and I've got a bit of a cold sweat.
