Even though I have a fairly diverse taste in music, I don't tend to branch out from what I already listen to. Partly because the music industry doesn't put out much good music (IMHO of course), and partly because I like to listen to talk radio a lot. Mainly though, it's because the music I have brings up good memories. I'm also a sucker for live or new versions of existing songs I have. That's why a good 70% of my iPod is Caedmon's Call music. :)
Anyways, I was trying to branch out a bit and I was going through Grassroots Music's free MP3 page and I noticed a new version of "This World" by Derek Webb that I hadn't heard before. I listened to it and loved it. I decided to check out the iTunes store to see if the whole album was there (and I just discoved it was $0.20 more on iTunes) and found that a few months ago Derek got his 3 solo albums and a 3 song iTunes exclusive EP album on there. I bought "The House Show," which is a live concert album and had "This World," and the EP.

So much for branching out, but I think I came out ahead. They're both great albums.

2 hours 20 minutes until my final exam. Probably 4 hours or so until we hit the road for Dallas. 372 days until we get married.

I totally understand what you're saying. I've been the same way until recently and all of the sudden I'm discovering a bunch of new stuff I like.

I know we've touched on this before, but who are your favorite talk radio hosts. I like Michael Medved (though I don't listen to him often), Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Dave Ramsey and Dr. Laura (though I think she gets too mean sometimes).
