One thing I hate about Memphis, Midtown in particular are the HUGE FRIGGIN ROACHES. I just got off the phone with Teresa and hadn't unpaused Tivo yet when I heard some noises in my kitchen. I was afraid it was a mouse (I had one two years ago), but I saw this HUGE FRIGGIN ROACH climbing up the wall. I eventually chased it onto the floor spraying this Raid flying insect spray (useless on HUGE FRIGGIN ROACHES I know), then it flipped over and I grabbed some paper towels and an old shoe then let it join the afterlife.

I hate insects! I can deal with spiders before roaches. I'm definately requesting that the insect sprayer for the apartments comes by this week. I'm also going to probably bug-bomb my apartment right before I go out of town.

I remember seeing an enormous roach when I was in Daycare in elementary school. I stepped on it, then it kept crawling. I jumped up and down on top of it, it looked at me as if to say "are you done?", then kept crawling across the floor.

Ok, so I made up the part about it looking at me, but it was still creepy...
