Apr. 20th, 2005 02:27 pmI'm sick of UPS not delivering when they say they will. This package had attempted deliveries yesterday morning and this morning. The InfoNotice said the next delivery was going to be tomorrow. After I had already made arrangements to be home from work to meet the UPS delivery person I find out they went ahead and delivered it this afternoon. If you say you're going to try again tomorrow, then don't try again the same day.
I also signed the first note and said deliver in the apartment's office. The first note wasn't even moved from where I left it and I wouln't even have had this issue had the delivery person read the note and gone ahead and delivered it there, which is where they delivered it anyways.
Given the choice in the future, I'm never using UPS again. I'm tired of having to deal with crap like this or having to go to the UPS hub to pick up my packages.
I have been waiting on a replacement DSL modem for over a week. The first two times I thought it would go out were my ISPs fault, and I'm not even that mad at them because they called me, admitted their mistake, then reshipped it. UPS tried to deliver it yesterday. I signed the note (without noting the "in person" bit by the checkbox) and wrote under the signature to deliver to the leasing office. Even though I wasn't there in person to sign it, someone's always in the office. They have my signature on file to allow them to accept packages on my behalf. Today I stop by during lunch, there's another poop brown notice on top of yesterday's. They didn't read it and said they'd deliver the package tomorrow. Now I call to complain and find out that the package has been delivered. This is some frustration I could live without.
I'm swamped at work, I've got a headache, I've got a sick fiancee, and I'm generally pissed off.
