yakk0dotorgWhooo! I had thought that Cybertron, my oldest and first home built PC had it's motherboard die on me, but after tinkering with it today I discovered that it was the power supply that had ended it's life. This system had been web server for a while and now is a dedicated file server and internet gateway. I was unable to browse wirelessly now that my phones were back without figuring out another way to get one of my other computers to dial out, and that wasn't an easy task. I decided to take another look at Cybertron and even managed to get the processor upgraded from an AMD K6-2 300Mhz to a K6-2 500Mhz chip that I had laying around here. All is well and I am now free to roam around my apartment still connected to the net.
