I thought these were scams, but the free ipods thing actually sent people ipods, so I figured what the heck. I've got an e-mail account to burn and  always wanted a portible DVD player and if 10 people sign up here I'll get one. They have other portible video devices available if you want to try for them too.

Not only does the person have to sign up, but they have to complete an "offer". What kind of "offers" do they have? It's probably something like applying for a credit card, then maintaining a credit balance for a month.

I signed up for blockbuster's netflix like service. You get 2 free weeks and I imagine you can cancel after that.
