I've pretty much decided to buy a new Tivo. They're running a $100 rebate right now on all Series2 units, and that means the 40 hour one will be $99. Tivo now has a multi-service discount that will discount the monthly fee to $6.95/unit per month if you have multiple units. so my monthly fee shouldn't change with the new unit. I also have a 10% off coupon for Best Buy that expires monday, so I'm gonna get this weekend. I was feeling guilty about it, then I remembered my 5 year longevety check comes mid-September. w00t!
