I hate people that don't treat animals well. I just got back from getting a frozen coffee drink from the new bookstore and there was a dog in the Admin building with some people watching over it. They had called the number on the tag, then apparently also campus security. So this huge guy waddles over (I'm not exagerating) and the dog's just standing there with his tongue hanging out happily, and grabs the dog by the collar and tries to get him to come with him. The dog doesn't like this and sits down but eventually the "cop" gets the dog out of the building and then the collar comes off and the dog gets away.

How stupid is that guy? You never grab an unknown dog by the collar. That's stupid and dangerous. You come up to the dog and let him sniff your hand before doing anything. The family was already contacted. Now what's he going to do? hand the collar to the family and be done with it? If it were my dog I'd be mightily peeved if anything happened to him.

This moron should either be demoted to a desk or forced to get into some sort of physical training program.

this is so cool. I've been streaming music on my PocketPC today from a shoutcast stream and playing it on an extra set of speakers in my office. If only I could use it wirelessly at work...
