I've been cleaning tonite and I decided to hook up the Apple ][c that monalisa816 gave me and put it on the new shelf thingie I bought. The darn thing works! And it's 18 years old! I wish my laptop was as reliable. I've put some pics up here. It's funny that my laptop is physically about the same size as the Apple. Anyways, I'm off to cleaning again.

it's 2:45 and i've decided to cheat on my cleaning. I hope amber_asylum doesn't mind me using her room as temporary storage for the weekend. I promise to have all the boxes out by the time Teresa is here on the 10th (She'd kill me if I was still packed by then). I'm such a procrastinator. Bah.

Just woke up and Teresa just called saying they left later than they planned. Does anyone ever leave when they plan to? I always seem to leave an hour or so late when I go on trips, so I just figure that in the plans. Anyways, because of this I have more time! back to slee...um...off to clean the kitchen! Yeah, that's it...

And aardwolf would appreciate this. Teresa just called me asking if reservations were needed at the Rendevous. We're probably going there for dinner. (in a Homeresques voice) mmm...ribs...

I'm back. The day went well, but I have a heat induced headache now. And I stayed up until 4am for nothing! They didn't end up coming over! Now I gotta mess everything up again. Just kidding of course. I just realized I left my elbow brace in Teresa's purse, but I'll only be without it a week, and after having it for only a day I think I'll be ok. I'm feeling a lot better about things between me and Teresa after seeing her today. They say absence makes the hard grow fonder, but it also makes you start worrying about stupid little stuff. I'm convinced we'll work out fine being in the same city together. Her big fear is school and not knowing anyone here in Memphis (Aside from aardwolf and a few other friends of mine). She doesn't know her new roommates at all, and I plan on introducing her to some female friends from the Mug that should make her feel at home. I told her that I'll do whatever I can to help her out, but I don't think she realizes how much I mean it. Ah well, 7 days and counting. :)

In other news, we went to Toys 'R Us and StarSucks tonite so we could have a little time alone with each other (this is when my fears disappeared because I realized she wasn't as open on the phone because her parents were always around). Anyways, at the Toys 'R Us I was looking at their transformers, and they had a Scourge! This is a very limited run that I figured would have run out a few months ago and I had no chance of getting it. That made a good nite great. Now to go play with my new toy. =)
