The campus today is like a ghost town. It really feels eerie. I've found out that even "essential" employees only work until tomorrow, so I hope the state gets it's act together soon. I'm off to play some UT until class starts. NARF!

Despite having to be one of a handfull of people working today I have had a fairly good birthday. Thanks to everyone that sent happy birthday emails, ecards, LJ posts, or IMs. Final exams were moved to tomorrow I think. I'll find out tonite. All I really feel like doing right now is going home and sleeping. Or continue cleaning my room. I'm actually motivated to do that now. Wonder if that'll last till I get home.

Oh yeah. My teacher gave us a 5 question quiz with each question being 10 points and 50 points already built in. I missed 1. Then we got our second test, another quiz, and an essay back. I got a 96 on the test, 80 on the quiz, and a 97 on the essay I was sure I bombed. Then he told us that he didn't think giving us one day to prepare for a final was fair, so he'd take our highest test grade and count it as the exam grade. I got a 92 on my first test, so I got a 96 on the final!

w00t!

I'm so happy now. I think I'll spend the rest of the night watching Lilo and Stitch downtown, or doing something.

Oh and it's about to storm. Bad. I love it! Let the rains come down! :)
