Last night I helped a one of the University lawyers transfer her stuff from her old computer to a new one she just got and also set stuff up for her. She had told me previously when I worked on her computer that I charged too little (was $35/hour then). After fixing her computer she offered me her old PC and I was more than willing to take that as my payment, but she also wrote me a check, folded it and said "I gave you a little more because you don't charge enough." The check was for $100. That plus a computer (450mhz Pentium 3, 96MB ram, 12GB HD) is nice for 2 hours work. =)

Today I woke up with a migraine and feeling nauseus so I stayed home from work. It was nice because I got stuff done at home after it started to go away. Now I have it again because I tried once again for the warranty company to pay more for my car repairs. They didn't budge and treated me like a moron.

Nice about the money (and even cooler about the computer)... But I'm sorry about the warranty people. It's their job to try and deny honest claims (or so TV would have us think).

At least my dad got a loan for me to get my car back. Hopefully I'll have it back tomorrow and the loan is paid automatically like my car is.
