sigh. My car needs $2400 worth of work. only $400 is covered by my warranty (timing belt problems). If I had read my warranty beforehand I would have known and not had them take it apart but now it's beyond putting back together without the repairs. I'm supposed to go and see about a credit card with them during lunch, but i'm not going to sign anything today. I even called my dad for advice (first call since August) but he wasn't there.

sigh...

How much did you spend on the car? At some point, it's just not going to be worth it to keep plugging in money...

Yes... Luckily for you, used cars don't depreciate as fast as new ones. As long as the car is worth more than you owe on it, you'll still make a profit if you trade it in (if you're into the whole getting a new car concept.)
