yakk0dotorggood news and bad news. The good news is that an appointment opened up monday at 8:30 for my dental appt. The bad news (besides it being 8:30) is that it means I need the $500 sooner rather than later. I also have a feeling that I'm not going to be getting the money from the Fine Host people. They're the group that does the food stuff for the Pyramid.
In addition to all this, I've been in bed sick all day and slept until 8PM. Now it's 3:40AM and I'm not tired at all. I hope my sleep cycle gets back in shape so I make that appointment Monday.
I've also had an interesting conversation tonite with the owner of a site I used to work for. He's basically a prick and makes the owner of the previous site I worked for look like a saint. I have a logfile somewhere that he said "I'm always lying" among other things. What I had fun with was this comment:
"You are a nobody yakko at least thousandsof people know and respect this 'moron'"
I replied:
"and coming from a self professed liar, being called a nobody doesn't hurt at all. it must really mean I'm somebody right?"
Anyways, that was fun. If any of the old GN admin crew wanna see the log, shoot me a note and I'll gladly provide it. I thought I handled it well.
