Ah well. They're letting me install yellow dog on one of the old macs at my new office for me to play around with, so it seems now that there is no question of who to go to for help. That's comforting.
Speaking of that, actually... would you recommend anything besides yellow dog to put on an old iMac?

Date: 2003-09-12 06:33 am (UTC)...ah. here it is. It boots into a full gui, but I've never tried it on the mac.
I also think Mandrake has a mac (PowerPC) version, but again I haven't tried it. OS X is unixy enough for my mac at work.
