It's been a good weekend. Saturday I installed the TurboNet network card in my Tivo, and it went flawlessly. I can now control the tivo via a webserver I installed, and I can telnet and FTP to it. There are some very cool things you can do with a Tivo and an ethernet connection.

Today I had a migraine and was useless for a good part of the day. Teresa made a pot roast this afternoon that rivals my mom's. It was very, very good.

Tomorrow my espresso machine is delivered to work. Can't wait for that. I've gotta find a place to get a good espresso blend. I really don't like the taste of Starsucks coffee, but I tolerate it. I love Seattle's Best coffee, but don't know where to get it since the Mug stopped using it and is now closed. (coincidence?). Anyone know where I can get a good fine espresso blend in Memphis until I can get my own grinder? I'd really love to be able to get Seattle's Best beans and grind my own.

last week or the week before. I heard they had a silent auction to sell all the stuff off then they closed. They've opened a Texas location though and still ship coffee.
I wish I had known, I wanted that projector.

It couldn't be because the employees got snippy and started ignoring customers so they could play chess?

Or because they called the customer a tree-hugging baby killer? Okay, that was just the one time, and it was just me. Well, that's why I quit going there.

I quit going because I got burnt out from being one of the two unpaid computer technicians. Still...I wanted that projector. :(

When I was working there I tried to be a good actor. Even when I was having a bad day I tried to smile and do everything I could do for the customers. That's the whole point of a business isn't it?

I heard they weren't making a profit, or even breaking even.
