This year I resolve to buy more toys, yet save money, I'm gonna get my debt gone and finally be able to get Teresa all the stuff I wanted to but couldn't afford (don't tell her, she'll try and stop me).
Tonite was fun. I met an old friend that's gone off to school in Washington State at Starbucks around 7 and we cought up with what's gone on with each other. Last time she was in town I didn't see her, so it was good. Afterwords I came home to a scare. Apparently my door wasn't deadbolted securely and the door was open to my apartment. The outside door to the building was still locked and nothing was missing, so I was relieved. I had a desktop and 2 laptop computers in plain sight.
Anyway, being the complete and utter geek I am, my Transformers community had something we called MSTF3K in the chat tonite. For the first time I can ever think of, people all over the world (literally), were watching the same Transformers episode at the same time and making stupid comments about it in the chat. The log is saved here, but probably wouldn't make sense if you didn't have the episode playing. We're going to do it with Transformers: The Movie next and possibly do it even more in the future.
After that, Teresa called me around 11:30ish. We talked and she said she was watching the countdown on ABC. I heard her family counting down, but they weren't on TV so I was confused. It turns out that they were watching FOX, and I was sitting through Rod Stewart for nothing. :(
Now I have a headache (not from Rod Stewart though) and will be going to bed. Have a good 2003 y'all!
