(no subject)

We had a busy and productive weekend. About 1/4th of the boxes from Teresa's apartment in the apartment are unpacked. We've started on unpacking our plates and silverware. I've installed the Brita filter we got as a present on our sink with no problems other than cutting the top of my head by bumping an open cabinet door. We finally got our pillows, and I can sleep in hypoallergenic bliss.
We also used a ton of gift cards. We spent a lot at Target, and went over the amount we had in gift cards, but then we returned some stuff we didn't like and got all the cash back. :) Kohls had a problem with their computers that processed gift cards, so we didn't get to use those yet.
Still no sign of my Nintendo DS, but hopefully it got dropped into one of the boxes we haven't gone through yet. :(

(no subject)

my lovely wife took me to see Clerks 2 tonight. It was a great movie. At first I wasn't expecting much, but it really pulled through at the end. At which point I realized that the characters are supposed to be 33, and that's me in 5 years. Anyways, we stayed for the credits because I wanted to see if the Myspace Clerks II contest was where the first 10000 people to friend clerks2 were supposed to be in the credits (I think I was around 3000something), and it scrolled by too fast, but I'm there. =)
Then we went to Ben and Jerry's and ate some ice cream amongst tennieboppers and came home.
