good news for a great local business. Lenny's Sub Shop is adding 10 locations in Virginia, near D.C. I wish they had done this before I went to D.C. in December though...

Lenny's Sub Shop, Memphis' homegrown sandwich chain, is expanding again.

This time its deli-fresh sandwiches are headed to Virginia, near the Washington area.

Virginia Restaurant Group will add 10 restaurants in Fairfax and Prince Williams counties. Group partner Denis Finch has experience opening restaurants, evaluating existing stores, construction, hiring, training and advertising. He was previously vice president of Holly Farms Fried Chicken, and has worked as a consultant for Wendy's and Western Sizzler Steak House franchisees.

Lenny's is on track to open between 400 and 500 restaurants in the next few years.
