Sep. 8th, 2005 11:35 amDespite taking a benedryl before bed I woke up with a horrible headache. The sudafed I took this morning seems to be kicking in slowly though. Benedryl knocks me out, so I can't take it during the day if I want to be useful for anything.
I replaced my car stereo yesterday (finally). Yesterday at work I tried soldering the wire harness to the cables that plug into the stereo, and my boss didn't like the job I was doing and did it himself. When I got home and finally had the right socket (I needed a 7mm, and had a 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12), everything was easy. Except that I didn't get the antenna adapter I needed.
$5 at Autozone later and that was working too. The sound is amazing! My speakers had sounded blown before, but apparently that was the old stereo. I have yet to try a MP3 CD, but I do have a cable plugged into the AUX-In in the back of the stereo for my iPod. I've got to find a good way of mounting my ipod so it's not too distracting to my driving. The radio also picks up better than I can remember. I'm very happy with my new Sony car stereo. =)
Now I gotta get back to bed.
