Aug. 18th, 2005 11:26 amMigraine knocked me down today. Yesterday I was out sick with a messed up stomach, this morning I woke up with a light sensitive sinus pressure migraine. The meds are kicking in finally and I might even get some work done from here.
Yesterday I was feeling good enough during lunch to meet my mom up at Patricks at Mindenhall and Park. It was pretty good. I had the vegetable plate, not wanting to upset my stomach. I hadn't talked to her in a while, so that was nice. I'm such a horrible son though. I don't keep in contact with people well at all. :(
This week I joined the Highland Hundred, the UofM's football booster group. I found out that current students can join free, and I count as a student. The school treats my staff status as a trump card over my student status (because I don't pay an activity fee), but because I'm taking a class the H100 doesn't. I paid $75 for a parking pass though, so now we'll get to park close to the LB and tailgate there, instead of by the Collisseum and walking over and freeloading at the tailgates. Season football tickets were also FedEx'd yesterday 2-day. I can't wait for this season to get underway. If you're in Memphis and still want season tickets, the "Fun Zone" section is only $75/seat for the season. I think Kroger's still doing the limited $5 tickets too.
