(no subject)

Tomorrow if I have some downtime at work I'm going to try and install Linux on my iPod. I never saw the point since it's not that mature and can't play AAC music (which most of my music is now), but I just found out about a way to record audio (up to 96khz I think ) with the iPod using Linux. I'm wondering how handy it might be to have a portable recording device that holds 20GB. I've only got about 4GB used right now, and it's easy to backup the stuff beforehand and restore it in case of catastrophe, so I'm gonna go for it.
