Feb. 10th, 2005 09:46 amThis morning shortly after 8 I was sitting on my couch getting ready for work and checking my email when my apartment shook. I noticed the was shaking other day when I was sitting in the same place when a train went by so I chalked it up to the same thing and went a different way to work (usually I take a back way over the tracks and avoid going on Union). Apparently there was a 4.2 quake in Arkansas. Wow...I've finally felt a quake. There's been others before that I never felt. Now I never want to feel it again.
Tonight I have my followup doctor's appointment for my achilles tendon problem. The exercises the doctor told me to do and the anti-imflammitory medicine have both helped immensely. I predict she's going to tell me it's going to be a nagging problem and to keep doing what I've been doing and it'll help. I want to start being able to be active and start playing ultimate frisbee again, but I've got to get into shape first. Hopefully she'll tell me I can start walking or running again.
