Nov. 8th, 2002 01:35 amI just got in from Nashville. I went to the Microsoft Tablet PC/Sharepoint event thingie there today. It was scheduled from 4-8, but apparently they messed up because it really started at 5:30. There was a room full of people sitting and watching the final setup between 4 and 5:30 because we all thought it started at 4. At least they had food and I had Zelda to play on my NES emulator for my iPaq. The Tablet PC is really really cool. The vendor I talked to was actually based in Cordova (ironically at the Koger center, that I used to live across the street from). He's gonna call me next week and we're gonna try and setup an on campus demo. Dell doesn't make a Tablet PC yet, and he only sells [yuk]Acer[/yuk], but MS supposedly has strict hardware requirements, so we'll see how it goes. I really want to get my hands on one.
I got home so late because I made use of my time in Nashville and met my cousin Josh at a Waffle House before I left. He recently moved up there and I found out through a mutual friend. My family doesn't tell me anything.
I'm off to bed and hopefully when I get to work my Aeron will still be there despite someone's efforts to rid the admin building of them.
