I'm now dongleless on my laptop! I ran across an unopened 10/100/56k modem card in an office today and the lady said I could keep it if I could use it. My other ethernet card will now most likely find a home in amber_asylum's laptop.

I just got back (well an hour ago) from the Mug. I had to fix a friend's laptop, and it was a quick fix. Someone had installed some DVD playing software from a DVD and it had corrupted WinDVD on her system. All is well now. We watched Shrek to test it. As well as one can watch Shrek in a busy coffee shop that is.
