UGH! this pisses me off so much. I just got off the phone with a credit card company that has been calling me every other day for 2 weeks always asking for $19 or $10 to "get my account current." They told my debt management company something completely different. I actually raised my voice and yelled at the lady while I was sitting here in my office. According to this site the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act says that they can't call you at work if you tell them calls of that nature aren't allowed. Last week they said I had to send a certified letter, today they try to tell me some BS that deleware laws supercede federal ones. So I asked if she was saying that Deleware wasn't a state in the US and she must have not been paying attention because she said it wasn't. I'm fed up with this crap.
