Big shakeup in my division today. My boss is now in charge of the entire Client Services area. A lot of what he has been doing is going to be pushed down to me and people in my office, so I'll probably get to order 400+ computers from Dell this summer. Fun! :)
I'm also evaluating some cool stuff. Intel's LANDesk and Powerquest's PowerDeploy Suite evaluations have been going on for a few weeks now and Microsoft's SharePoint Portal server was added today. The last one is gonna be pretty neat. W00t!

I got an ad in my mail from DirecTVDSL today. Since I checked unsuccessfully for it the other day, I took this as a sign though and checked for DSL availability for the new apartment again. WOOHOO! It's available! The deal is pretty good ($39/month for the first 3 months, $49/month after that, year contract required, no activation fee) and they give you a static IP and let you run servers! Now I gotta sweet talk Anya into going for it (although for that price, I'll likely do it anyways). I want payday to come so bad...
